Choosing me to photograph your wedding
I'd do a standout job for you. But, I sparingly take on weddings with lots of guests, by choice. I typically shoot a hundred or more sessions in a year and pride myself in delivering gorgeously edited photographs 2-3 days after the shoot. If I were to take on more than a couple of larger weddings, my delivery schedule would take a hit. With that said, if you love my photos, and want to discuss your larger wedding (multiple hours, reception, etc) we can chat.

A destination wedding photographer is a photographer who travels to different destinations across the world to photograph a wedding. Destination wedding photographers are often
hired to fly to Kauai, sometimes even from Oahu. Of course using a destination wedding photographer goes against the grain of “buy local / use local” that’s especially meaningful in Kauai.

Small weddings in Kauai usually take place on the beach, have authentic yet snappy ceremonies, and then your Kauai wedding photographer whisks you away to a private photo session. Experience is invaluable
Before photography as a profession, I'd weave the triangulation of story, creative interpretation, and execution into movies. After switching to photography for a quieter life in Kauai (which turned out to be hardly quieter) I still maintain a triangulation: pre-shoot visualization, photoshoot execution, and post-shoot editing. So story-telling continues to run through my veins.
Most of the weddings I take on are elopements, more often than not without any guests. When I take on wedding photography that requires multiple hours, and has a flow of guests, I'll always ask for a pre-wedding meeting so that we can be on the same page. This is a once in a lifetime moment and we both want to get it right. It's important to you, and to me.
