WHY THIS KAUAI WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

My Style. Style is a thing that's hard to define because it's so specifically personal; it exists because of so many things, likes, input, evolution. What I can tell you is that because Kauai is so colorful, I love to show off its vibrancy. While many Kauai wedding photographers are hooked on muted and faded tones, I favor the richness of Kauai, which means rich, vibrant photos.
My efficiency. I don’t do photography pileup! Photography pileup is when the photographer’s sessions keep coming and the editing is suddenly is like a Thanksgiving kitchen, sink overflowing, pots, pans, crusty dishes everywhere, and the photographer shrugs. “I’ll do it later!” Like that’s going to make it easier or quicker. A photographer who takes on your photography project who cannot deliver timely delivered photos is not a photographer worth having. So what is timely? I won’t speak for all photographers but for me, my timeframe for a couple's beach elopement is 2-3 days, full weddings 1-2 weeks depending on how many hours at the wedding, how many photos to deliver.
Experience. I'll not be learning on your time. I'm not a weekend photographer, part-time hobbyist. I'm a full time professional with decades of experience.

I'll do a standout job for you. For couple's elopements let's get you into my calendar. Larger weddings? I only take on a few weddings with lots of guests, by choice. Because of my portraiture photo session work, if I were to take on more than a couple of larger weddings, my delivery schedule would take a hit, and like I've already said, I don't do photography pileup. With that said, if you love my photos, and want to discuss your larger wedding we can chat.

If not me, please use a local photographer not a destination wedding photographer.

A destination wedding photographer is one who travels to different destinations across the world to photograph a wedding. Sadly, the destination wedding photographer goes against the grain of “buy local / use local” that’s especially meaningful in Kauai. There's so many benefits of choosing a local photographer. We all know the best spots so that your photos will be an absolute merger of you and Kauai. We all know the eateries, the art scene. We are kauai and we love Kauai. So please choose local.
