I RECOMMEND THE 1-HOUR SESSION BECAUSE OF ...

The sweet spot. Every photo session has one, when suddenly every shot is magical. It might happen early but usually it takes a warm-up, about 15 minutes or so into the photo session, unless you're all pros!
More is not always better. But chances are you'll find more gem photos in a larger selection than less. But if your budget is a mini, then I highly recommend the Mini More.
Spotty weather. Drizzle doesn't usually last long here. It comes and goes. In a longer session we usually shoot around those weather hiccups.

THE PHOTO SESSION - EDITING - A PRIVATE ONLINE GALLERY W/ OPTIONS FOR PRINTS

The Photoshoot - My talent and skill for composing, framing and making beautifully exposed photographs. (Please be mindful that I don’t bring with me a makeup or wardrobe person. You are responsible for your makeup, hair, and wardrobe.
High resolution digital photography - from a full frame professional camera
Edited photos - Volume stated in the package is the minimum. You might get more.
Curating & photofinishing - with enhancements that include
Color correction and illumination balancing (making sure all people in the photographs are properly illuminated.
Highlight and shadow adjustments - so important for faces
Horizon adjustments - when necessary, makes for pleasing aesthetics.
Cropping - if appropriate, when it enhances aesthetics.
Removal of clutter, such as unwanted beachgoers, parasols, tents, surfers, driftwood, etc.
Private on-line photo gallery to view, share and download your photos, with options for prints.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED (FEES, EXTRAS)

Permit: All beaches in Hawaii are state owned with a law that prohibits all commercial activity without an individualized permit. The cost is $20.
Longer session/more photos (20/10) - each 20 mins adds 10 extra photos - $100
Sun gun lighting package - $450 (not always available).
GET: In the state of Hawaii it is 4.5%
All the photos taken not included. I do my best to edit the very best of your session.
Retouching is not included - see section below
RAW files are not included.
Prints are not included but the gallery host offers printing services with discounts.

OPTIONAL RETOUCHING

The photofinishing of your photos includes many enhancements over images straight from the camera; it does not include retouching, which is a very time-intensive endeavor. The fee for retouching is $150 for 5 touched up photos. Common fixes are reworking windswept hair, making thinner arms, legs, waists, removing sunburn or tan lines or pimples or acne, or a wardrobe malfunction that might be ruining your favorite photo. Or it might be a fix to make you look younger or less fatigued. Some requested changes might not be feasible. IMPORTANT! While your photo package does not include retouching, if there's 1 - 3 photos that you'd love to see altered, I will attempt to retouch at no charge, as long as I believe the edit is doable, in a reasonable time frame. Note: if there's an editing mistake, such as an artifact caused during processing, I will naturally fix as soon as possible.
