FAQ - PROFESSIONAL photoGRAPHY

I'll hold your date with a deposit, $100-$300 depending on the package. As I'm flexible on swapping dates, times, when I can, if you cancel because you no longer can make it or you think you won't like the weather, I'll only refund the deposit if I'm able to rebook the time.  

Kauai sees lots of rain. Without the rain, it wouldn't be so lush and beautiful here. So we accept it. Unless it's a deluge—an all day pouring thing—my shoots go on as planned. Don't worry, the photos will still come out great. 

You will download your Kauai photography full resolution digital images from a private gallery I will make for you, linked to your email. So it's very important once you book to give me your email address and your mobile phone number.    

Shared ownership. You and me. You have the right to print, sell, publish, etc. When you post on social media I would appreciate being tagged.  I have the right to use your photos and or video for Sunsets At The Beach publicity including print, social media, and websites.   

From the shoot date it is typically 2 to 5 days, a few days longer for weddings with guests and multiple hour events.  

Only modest retouching like debris removal and unwanted beach goers removal is included. For body and facial enhancements you will need to select next level editing. Fees are from $150.

More people equals more editing as every person in the photo is edited for, at minimum, balanced illumination.   

 Yes if you purchase a $250 proofs add-on to your package.  Let me just say I'm really fantastic at choosing, and I'll give you all the best without you having to pay extra.  However, once I've created your gallery, if you ask me to check for photos not given to you, you'll be putting me back on the clock, $100/hr vs $250 proofs.    

Usually the golden hours—if mother nature cooperates. 

YES. I typically don't make editing mistakes but if you find errors or artifacts introduced by the editing of course I'll fix free of charge. I'll also do minor adjustments for up to 3 photos without charging. Thereafter, my fee is $100/hr and i'll give you an estimate on how long it will take, bearing in mind that not all changes are possible.      

Yes. Only if you've chosen not to have your photos edited. Just give me a compatible camera card.  See SPECIAL OFFER.  Note: I won't edit your photos and give you the RAW. It's one or the other. 

My favorite photo locations are all along our north shore. But I do shoot all over our island.

 I don't offer a single shot service; it's not realistic for my time or talent  I always photograph multiple set-ups. You can select a mini session with 25 edited included photos.
